Privacy Policy
What information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a Texas resident. Written in plain English.
The short version
CarSide Concierge collects only the information needed to negotiate a vehicle on your behalf. We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not share your information with dealerships, lenders, or third-party marketers. You can ask us to delete what we hold about you at any time.
What we collect, and why
Different forms on this site collect different information. We collect only what's needed for each:
- Guide download form — your name (optional) and email address. Used to send you the guide and, with your consent, occasional updates from CarSide Concierge. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Free 5-minute consultation booking — your name, email, phone number, and preferred time. Used to schedule and confirm the call and to follow up afterward.
- Client preferences form (paid engagements) — vehicle preferences, budget, financing situation, trade-in details, and supporting documents you choose to upload (driver's license, paystubs, insurance). Used solely to research and negotiate your specific purchase. Sensitive documents are stored in a Google Drive folder accessible only to CarSide Concierge.
- Direct emails and texts you send to us — the content of the message and your contact details. Used to respond to your inquiry and to maintain a record of our engagement.
How we use the information
We use your information for the following purposes only:
- To deliver the service you requested (consultation, negotiation, advisory).
- To communicate with you about your purchase, the engagement, or follow-up service.
- To improve our work over time — for example, learning which fees the most Houston dealers stack so we can warn future clients.
- To comply with legal obligations (recordkeeping, tax, regulatory inquiries).
We do not use your information to:
- Sell or rent it to anyone.
- Share it with dealerships, lenders, insurance brokers, or any other third-party seller.
- Run advertising profiles or remarketing campaigns.
- Train artificial intelligence models or commercial datasets.
Who can see your information
Only CarSide Concierge personnel — currently just the founder, Dimitri Dimitrovski — sees your information. We use the following service providers to operate the business, each of whom processes data only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare — hosts this website. Sees standard server log information (IP address, user agent, page requested) for security and performance. Does not see form contents.
- Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Drive, Forms, Apps Script) — stores form submissions, document uploads, and email communications. Access is limited to the CarSide account.
- Stripe (when you make a payment) — processes the payment. Stripe handles your card information directly; CarSide does not store credit card numbers.
We do not use third-party advertising or marketing analytics platforms. The site uses Cloudflare's privacy-preserving Web Analytics, which does not place cookies or collect personal data.
How long we keep your information
We keep the information we collect for as long as needed to deliver the service and comply with our recordkeeping obligations:
- Consultation and engagement records: seven years, consistent with Texas business recordkeeping norms.
- Email subscriber list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
- Sensitive financial documents you upload (paystubs, ID, etc.): deleted within 60 days after your purchase closes, unless we need them to defend or fulfill the engagement.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccuracies.
- Delete your information, except where we are legally required to retain it.
- Opt out of any non-essential email communications.
- Receive a copy of the information we hold about you, in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email dimitri@carsideconcierge.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We will respond within ten business days.
Texas residents — Texas Data Privacy and Security Act
If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) gives you the rights listed above. CarSide Concierge does not currently sell personal data, share it for targeted advertising, or process it for automated decisions affecting your rights. If you have a TDPSA-specific complaint that we have not resolved, you may contact the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division at texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection.
Children's privacy
CarSide Concierge is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We protect your information using industry-standard measures: encrypted transmission (HTTPS), two-factor authentication on all internal accounts, access controls on stored documents, and prompt patching of our systems. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep your information for the shortest time necessary.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top and, for material changes, notify our email subscribers directly. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
